Tell us about your experience. What was your favorite part? How has it changed you or the way you see yourself? Would you do it again? What else can you tell us about this experience?

“After my divorce, I needed some serious self-love. I had followed Kim on social for a long time before then, and every woman she posted always looked so stunning. I figured having my photos taken might give me a little confidence boost (or, at least, I hoped it would), but I was entirely unprepared for how — dare I even say it! — sexy (ah! ) I would feel during and after the shoot.

Frankly, I dreaded picture day. I was nervous and scared from the second I booked my shoot. Even after my make-up artist and hair stylist worked their magic on my ~lewk~ I still wanted to chicken out. I don’t know how she did it, but Kim made me feel comfortable from start to finish. We laughed a lot (so much so, sometimes, it was hard for me to stop long enough to “smize” as directed), and I actually had FUN — a word I never thought I’d use to describe my experience being semi- or completely naked in front of a camera.

I felt great leaving the shoot, but it was nothing compared to how I would feel during my photo reveal. Before then, I’d never seen or felt good about my body, so the experience was like seeing myself through someone else’s eyes, and I finally admitted to myself I looked pretty damn good. Beyond changing the way I see and feel about my body today, it was incredibly empowering to do the scary thing (#baddie ), and I have some more sway to my strut these days. Mission accomplished.

It took 34 years and a team of three talented women for me to finally understand self-love is so much more than booking myself a massage every once in a while. I plan to do another boudoir shoot one day, and before then, I’ve already decided beauty photos are next.

This amazingly beautiful, kind, funny, sparkling woman shot with me recently. We chose her favorite images for her album, then she later came back and said she had to have more of them, she just couldn’t leave them behind. She was truly proud of her photos and felt so amazing about herself after the experience that she knew she wanted to have every image she loved in her album. I’m so glad she did. Tell us about your experience. What was your favorite part? : I can't compliment Kimberly Brooke enough for such a beautiful and empowering experience! I purchased this boudoir session as a gift for my husband for our anniversary, but I soon realized that this was really a gift for both of us. I was nervous going into this experience and didn't feel like I had enough time to "prepare" my body, but after reading reviews, I realized one will never feel like they are perfectly ready so I just went for it! WOW, I was floored by the outcome.

Kimberly made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. She guided me throughout the whole process and chose poses and settings that were tasteful and sexy. She has so much experience and brought my personality and sexiness to life in ways that I didn't think were possible. Houston Boudoir Photographer | HTX Here We Go

I’m finally sharing a few images from my first boudoir session in Houston, TX since relocating! It only took me a few months.

For those of you who don’t know yet. I actually started my photography business in Houston, well over a decade ago, before moving to Austin in 2012. Well now it’s come full circle. My family moved back to Houston this Fall after a lot of prayer and consideration. I’m so excited to continue with photography, be closer to family, home, some old friends, and a lot of new ones… all that good stuff. While I will still serve my existing and new Austin clientele, I’m excited to now call Houston my home. Austin, I will always love you. Houston, here we go!

This gorgeous gal was so fun to spend the day with in the new studio space. There are a few similarities to my Austin studio, and so many differences. The light was absolutely dreamy that day. It was great to explore this new space while shooting, and get creative in fresh ways. Even as an artist, you can get used to an environment and need something unknown to push your creative vision. I didn’t prep before shooting in the new space because I wanted to find my way as I went through that first session, using my own creative eye and energy to figure out what worked. It was awesome. While I miss my Austin studio, this place definitely made me feel a new energy and excitement about shooting. Here are just a few images we captured of the beautiful Miss H that day. I’m so ready to capture many more muses here.

“My experience was exactly what I needed to get me through a little bit of a rough patch ( both mentally and physically). I wasn't exactly an open book when walking in to my session, but it didn't matter to Kimberly. She was able to make me feel comfortable from the start and I felt like I was with a girlfriend that I had known for years. I always imagined what a photo shoot like this one would look like for me and if I would ever be able to really look at myself and focus on just myself alone in photos, but I honestly feel like even just from doing this for a few hours on one day, I can feel confident knowing I am beautiful!”
